About the Neuroplaticity
We can choose our path to healing. Each of us is in charge of our healing path, even if we cannot heal our bodies completely, it is possible to make physical gains. We can do some of our best healing work using Neuroplasticity.
Scientists dating back as far as 1890 knew that areas of the brain were activated by blood flow, they also disected the brains of birds after training one group and not the other and validated that the trained birds brain’s were larger based on neuron growth!
The word “Neuroplasticity” was first used by Polish neuroscientist Jerzy Konorski in 1948 to describe observed changes in neuronal structure (neurons are the cells that make up our brains). Neuroplasticity has become quite the buzzword over the last several years due to the development in 1990 of the FMRI (Functional magnetic resonance imaging or functional MRI (fMRI) which measures brain activity by detecting changes associated with blood flow.
